Commercial and Residential Seal Coat
Prevent Costly Asphalt Repair. Asphalt driveways and
parking lots deteriorate over time due to sunlight (UV radiation),
chemicals (gasoline, oil, and other spills), and weather (thaw /
freeze cycles).
Seal Coating is a protective shield, fending off
solar radiation and chemicals, while preventing the cracks that
water and ice eat at year after year.
Commercial Asphalt Seal Coating
When
RDK meets with your facilities manager, we work to customize our services for
your needs, including scheduling application times to lessen the impact on your
business and the inconvenience of your customers.
RDK Asphalt Seal Coating uses only
Sealmaster products for commercial businesses. Sealmaster® is the industry
leader in the production of high-quality pavement maintenance equipment and
supplies. In application, we rigorously follow all of Sealmaster's
guidelines for asphalt sealer. Unlike some other asphalt sealer services, RDK
never alters formula recommendations, making sure to provide our customers with
a longer wearing, non-slip aesthetic appearance.
Reapplication
of the seal coating process is recommended every two to three years to maximize
the life of your asphalt driveway. Contact RDK Asphalt
Seal Coating today to see how hassle free we can maintain and improve your
parking lots. Ask about our other services:
Residential Asphalt Seal Coating
As
with our commercial customers, RDK Asphalt Seal Coating uses only
Sealmaster products on residential
jobs. We also follow all of their guidelines for product formulation and
application to ensure the longest life for your asphalt.
In addition to using the very best driveway sealer. RDK Asphalt Seal Coating
goes a step further by adding two pounds of sand per gallon to give you the best
traction possible. We also add a hardening agent to help your sealer stand up to
the toughest conditions.
In residential seal coating, broom application is applied filling in small voids
and hairline cracks. Prior to application, we will edge both sides of driveway
to clean grass and vegetation from the asphalt. Driveways are cleaned using a
carbon steal broom and a high-powered commercial blower.
Petro Seal Primer is applied to any oil or gas soaked areas to ensure product
adherence. Hot liquid crack filler is used to fill cracks ¼ inch or wider. The
end of your drive is then masked off with tape so that when sealer is applied
there is clean edge at the end of your driveway.
At RDK, we treat your asphalt and respect your property as we do our
own. We will carefully apply our product leaving walls, doors, down
spouts and mailboxes as clean as we found them.

Why Seal Your Asphalt
Sunlight (UV radiation) breaks down the asphalt, weakening it and loosening
the top surface. You notice the first stages of this as your asphalt turns over
time from black to gray. But the process continues as the surface looses
its flexibility and begins to crack and break. Other culprits are oil and
gas spills from the vehicles that park on your asphalt lot or driveway.
Without an asphalt sealer, these chemicals help break down your driveway even
faster.
If the asphalt has already begun to break apart, it’s too late for our
services. But we can repair cracks, restore that new, black
surface, and protect our customers’ driveways and parking lots from UV
degradation and chemical damage. Regular maintenance with Asphalt
Seal Coating can double or triple the lifespan of your asphalt surface at far
less cost than replacement.
Contact RDK today and ask about our asphalt sealing
services and maintenance program.
